Since 1992, Fundación Panama (The Panama Foundation) has been dedicated to serving the Panamanian community and the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Chartered in Washington, D.C., our nonprofit is dedicated to alleviating poverty, increasing awareness of social challenges, and providing financial support to social programs in both the District of Columbia and the Republic of Panama.
Message from the President
My vision for the future of Fundación Panama is to remain steadfast in our mission to alleviate poverty, raise social awareness, and provide critical assistance to social programs across the Republic of Panama and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We will continue to be deeply committed to promoting cultural diversity and fostering meaningful cross-cultural understanding among the people of the United States, Panama, and Latin America..
I have immense confidence in the collective strength of our Board of Directors and our partners. Their dedication to serve those in need with genuine care is the cornerstone of our success. As Mother Teresa beautifully stated, “It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”
